As always, if you'd like to join us in the musical fun, the guidelines are basic and simple.
- Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here..
- Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. You may choose a particular theme to share with us, or post random tunes if that's your vibe for the day. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
- Don't feel restricted by the tracks listed on Playlist.com. And don't be discouraged if the Embed code won't work. You're welcome to use any type of media to share your Sets.
- Be sure to sign Mr Linky on his site so everyone can visit your Set. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.
If music be the food of love, play on.

ReplyDeleteHi Mike -- I'm late getting my set posted. Had the day off from work, but instead I had three appointments (two were mine, one was Brad's.) Love this week's 80s set! Especially Take on Me (what writer doesn't get a thrill at a fictional character coming to life in the video?) Also love Young Turks, and Time After Time has a special place in my heart, as it was on the mixed cassette tape that I recorded over when my sister and I were chatting with her Russian sailor boyfriend during the summer of 1984. He was here in Canada during the Tall Ships, and when he didn't realize it, I simply pressed 'record' on the ghettoblaster we had with us. I sacrificed some songs in order to preserve the sound of his voice. SO glad I did that! Anyway, Time After Time is the song that preceeds Rashid's voice on the tape.
ReplyDeleteJulia,it is still friday so you are not lare! that's my story and I'm sticking to it,Glad you enjoyed the set.
