I will always tell this story because I am proud of it.When I enlisted,I chose the USAF I had 2 weeks before my induction during that time Dad and I visited with my Aunt Glydes and he asked her "Remember when I went in? she replied yes,Dad throws his arm around me and says Well it's His Turn Now." Because of my Dad Saying that I thank Service Member with thank you for taking your turn to serve.
My Late Dad was a WW2 Veteran and a member of the US Army Air Force.
