The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  6. Ahab the Arab - why didn't I think of that; my husband loves that song! And, Mitch Miller. Memories of his TV show in the 1960' and singing along to the bouncing ball! (I did think of Ben - great minds). Loved your selections. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  7. Mike,

Ray Stevens' parodies are a big party of my teen years. His mewsic always puts a smile on my face. :D This is the first time in a looong time hearing "When Johnny Comes Marching" makes me think of my favorite uncle Roger. I'm not sure why, unless he owned the record or I heard it first or maybe it had something to do with him being in the Vietnam War. I don't know but I think him every time. Thanks for sharing and for dancing with the 4M gals!

  9. Hi Mike,
That was a cool set of songs. The Ben movie creeped me out, but it sure was a hit for young Michael Jackson.
It was fun hearing Ray Steven's Ahab the Arab. Good one!

Hey, when you get a chance, please stop by my place and check out my 4M post for the Males Names theme. I'm skipping this next Monday so that post will still be close to the top of my blog. Hope to see you there...
