The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  1. Oh my gosh, I haven't heard Bobby Vinton songs in like forever. I remember when I first heard them was at my first boy & girl party and this chubby redheaded kid asked me to dance and he sang (off key by the way) in my ear instead of Blue Velvet by Bobby Vinton was playing and he sang, "She wore Blue Sequins, bluer than was the night. Blue sequins blue sequins, bluer than sequins were her eyes... that's when I told him my eyes were brown & to go find someone with blue eyes. hahahaha I was such a brat. LOL Thanks for the walk down memory lane. HUGS

  4. Bobby Vinton does a lot of songs with colors in the title. Another good one is "Red Roses for a Blue Lady."

I got your comment the other day about joining you on "5 on Friday." I'm doing ten songs on Fridays; if that's not a problem, I can hook up with y'all...
