the Hammered Dulicmer

the Hammmered dulicmer has been called many thing in different parts of the world.The dulicmer can trace it's roots to the country called Pursia sometime before Christ.I donot know the exactly when but I do know this fact.The dulicmer that is pictured is my dulicmer.I had discovered this musical instrament while chaseing the Ohio and Erie canal in the Roscoe Villiage area of Coshoton county here in Ohio.This was in 1991 at the time there was the regional dulicmer contest going on at the same time as a festival for the instrument.

I bought mine in 1992.In 1993 I entered the novice class competion and I was able to win third place.I was pleasantly surprized at winning this.The songs that I played were self taugh useing a video tape to watch the playing and then trying to copy what I was watching and learning.

If you have not figured it out yet I'm new to blogging and hope to be able to grow as a blogger.
Some one once asked me to do a submission for common ties,I have yet to do so because I'm not a great writer and my writing may look lake it is rambling,which it probably is.
So with this being said,please have patience with me I'm still learning and any tips will gratefully be received.

I just want so say what I'm greatful for.On Monday I was 17 years sober(12/17/1990)!
January 22 i'll be a greatful 56 years young! In march I'll be married to Celestine for 28 years.
My youngest sister will be married 29 years in March.My middle sis and her husband will be married 27 years in 2008.
The funny thing is that the following had to get married twice to get it right.Myself,My middle sis and her husband and My younger sis's husband,all of us had one failed marriage to our credit.Only My youngest Sis and My wife got it right the first time.

Well I guess I must confess that,

1. I'm new at this.
2. I will probably come across as being silly,but who cares.
3. if common ties had not changed it's format I probably would never be doing this.I really enjoyed the stories that i have read and commented on.
