Blog Blast for Peace
I decided to use 2 different videos for this years entry. On I saw over on Sometimes Saintly Nick's Site. the Second one is a John Lennon video. Both are powerful messages on their own. I think it is an added value with both of these together.

In my heart I guess I'm a "60s" person. I so believe in peace and love. I hate to see people persecuted just because they are different. This really hits me close to home. The amount of abuse my daughter has suffer because she is trans-gender is terrible. You see she was born with particle sex organs of both male and female. She never had a complete set of either. This was just recently found via ultra sound. She officially changed her name at the age 18 and begin living as a women. I admire for being able to do this. So many people filled with hate have treated her so badly. My question is "What would Jesus do?". We all need to love one another and be sensitive to those that are different. I guess I'll get off my soap box now. I have chosen to love all people even if they different in someway from me. Thank you for sharing Mike.

Tink, inner peace is a quest for me as well.I really do have to find a way to get my explosive anger under control.before I really lose the 2 people that matters them most to me.Celestine and of course myself is the other.

Annelisa,I just had to use both these viseos for this years posting. they both speak to me and hopefully to someone else as well.
Hi Mike! Great to see you in this years peace globe movement - I actually just saw you on twitter and bounced on over.
ReplyDeleteI love Wanda's comment, and find that all to often the words "What would Jesus do" are forgotten in "Man's" religious systems and churches. Sometimes they vary greatly. I think in each of our soul's lies the answer to "What would Jesus do". What does that have to do with peace? EVERYTHING .....
I must admit that it bothers me some peace messages are one that scoff at religion as a cause of war, when in all actuality, it was simply a bent and evil tool distorted and used by the wicked.
Anyway, I know that was kind of a rambling yadda yadda comment! It's late, and I just started typing.
Hope you are OUT of the doghouse ???
Peaced be with you,
Eric
