The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  4. Such talent! Back when he was John Ramistella at Baton Rouge High, a friend of Sweetie's who went to school with him caught him on the verge of committing a crime that would have been a felony. He grabbed John and said something to the effect of, you have a great talent, if you do this you will go to prison and it will be wasted, and I'm not going to let you do that. If you try to do this, I'm going to beat the tar out of you. Don't you ever do this kind of thing again.

John listened, and heeded, and the rest is history.

  5. Mike,

Johnny Rivers...oh, what a smooth cool rockin' voice! 'High On a Mountain of Love' is my favorite of your song feature line-up. It's interesting I do not recall 'Seventh Son'. Incidentally, this is no biggie but I wanted you to know your YT vids are set to mute and it always takes me a few seconds after I hit play to figure out why I'm not hearing anything. lol I guess a setting needs fixed but you're not the only person I've seen do this and never thought to mention it before now. Anywho, I do like your motivational mewsic picks. These oldies had my toes tappin' and body chair boogieing. Have a songsational week, my friend - you rock!

  6. Hey Mike,

It's so weird I checked my playlist just now and found that my volume is set for mute, too. *red face* I betcha YT has made it a universal change because I never had this problem before now. *scratch head* You can bet I'm going to pay closer attention to this the next time I insert a video on my site. :)
