DeletePeace isn't easy but it can be had.
ReplyDeleteBrian that is true, but sadly there are those who will never give up hate and cause wars,I fear that True Peace will only be Found when we Go home to our heavely Father.:( :-h d-)
DeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteI know you're a patriot and served our country well but we can agree that we'd like to have peace in this world. Wouldn't it be grand if we could live harmonously together? As long as there's hate for one people over another then there will never be peace on earth. Of course, as a Christian I know true peace won't be known until we're in heaven. I appreciate the sentiments and desire of all who wish for peace. Thanks for sharing these songs of peace with the 4M crew on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!
Cathy Kennedy,I was Glad that I was able to serve,I had always wanted to Honor Dad and all those who went before me to serve out Great Country.I am Honored that you stopped by.:):D :X :-* :-f :-h d-)
DeleteOne of the sad truths of life is that some must die so the rest of us can live, hopefully in peace and security. I thank all those who fought in wars such as World War II that were "just wars". What a term, "just war". If only we could have peace, but tyrants rise and we never seem to realize it until it is too late. I don't really like "thank you for your service" because it doesn't begin to touch on the sacrifices of veterans, but, as inadequate as it is, it's the best I can say...thank you for your service and I thank your other family members. Alana Proud daughter of a disabled veteran of World War II ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletebookworm, sadly there will always be wars because of tyrants, all we can di is pray that there will always be American Youth will to put their lives on the line to protect freedom.I offer a Saluter to your Dad and my Thanks for his service.:):D:X:-*:-f:-hd-)
DeleteBravo! on the post and the music. It's incredible how those songs still are so true. Thanks to all those who served. Some conservative friends get angry when I post about the homeless vets who are denied housing and proper medical care since they returned.
ReplyDeleteCathy Keisha,I know there has always been homeless Veterans from different wars, one reason is that war changes people some more so than others and we as a society turn a blind's eye to them:( and to your friend that get angry for you posts just ask have you walked a mile in their shoes or speent some time in their heads? if not you have nothing to say! :):D:X:-*:-f:-hd-)
DeleteThese all came out great. I am thankful to all who have served too. Nice song choices too, I like the peace theme.
ReplyDeletepilch92,Thank you for stopping by.:):D :-h d-)
DeleteI love your post as usual. The cat is so funny and 'triste' all together, but what touches me is the way you always honour those who fight and fought for our freedom. That doesn't clash with Blog4Peace, on the contrary imho... I honour them with you. Peace to you!🌎
ReplyDeleteTink,Thank you for honoring them as well w-) Peace Be with you My Friend! :) :D :X :-* :-f :-h d-)
DeleteDona Nobis Pacem....we hope that we will one day see peace.

DeleteAnd you tell me over and over and over and over again my friend,
ReplyDeleteYou don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.
As relevant today as when the words were written over 50 years ago.
songbird's crazy world,I know,it a little scarry that people still have not gotten it.I pray every day that the crazyness of war would end.But as long as hate rules it will not:(
