The Super Bowl.
This is one of the reasons that I'm not a great fan of pro sports.Back in the 50's and eairly 60's when the players were not millionairs and loyality to the teams and treir fellow teamates ment something I was a fan.
I just know that someone will take exception to what I have just said, but Hellow this is a free country and I can say what I feel, not like the dictatiors in other countries where if you dislike the government you may be thrown in jail.Thank God that does not exist here, even thought there are elements in government that wish they could jail the opposition.

ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big sports fan, but being a New Englander, I was hoping the Pat's would get the perfect season. I agree with you about sports. There was a time when a family with a modest income could go to a game. Now a regular person has to practically take out a loan to pay for an afternoon at a pro sports game.
I like to watch Olympic sports like skating, skiing, and gymnastics.
Tina
Tina,I quite being a big sports fan when the first millionaire was created in the 60's.That being said I don't mind watch a game or two on the T.V.But I'll be darned if I'm gonna pay the outragous prices to go to a game. And that does not take in account the concession stands.
ReplyDeleteJohn Q,if that's your real name, which I doubt.I can say that about a lot of sports teams.
