The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  1. Mike,

I remember the Kingston Trio. It's been a long time since I've heard any of their music.

Brandon loves the Beach Boys. He has CDs of them.

Thanks for the comments on my new look. Anni does a great job.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  3. Mary, the Kingston trio are a group that you enjoy no matter how old you get I enjoy the as much today as when I fist heard them. Where have all the flowers gone has been a favorite of mine ever since I heard it years ago.

Daffy, I'm glad that enjoy the music I post here. I like the beach boys as well. In fack my music taste is all over the place with maybe the newer stuff. I just cannot get my head around some of it.

  4. I know what you mean, I have eclectic tastes but my kids have the ability to offend my ear drums! I can hear myself in my own head as I say the very words my mum said to me all those years ago... "That's not music!" or "Turn that racket off!" :o)
I buy cd's for the car with my dad in mind as he loves to listen to liston to good music when we are out on one of our many shopping trips. Willie Nelson, Queen, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash. He quite likes Chris Rea from my collection and I've even got him singing along to Nickelback! haha

  5. Daffy, That's what what my Dad used to say about the Beatles and the Stones. Now I say it bout the cars that go by with just studding noise that some "adults" think as music. I'll tolerate rap music to a point, when it starts to disrespect women and advocate the killing of police officers I draw the line. Hip hop i do not get at all.
