ReplyDeleteWow, Mike. What is the purpose of this bridge? Foot traffic or cars? I would have to be a very expensive project. I knew why covered bridges were build back in the day but don't know why now. Enlighten me.

JC,from what I see of the construction it will be a combination of foot and car trafic.
ReplyDeleteI think they built this as a salute to the past.Not to mention they enjoy their covered bridges in the county. why else would they hold a festival every yeart celebrating the covered bridges.
I wish we had more covered bridges here. We have a couple and that's about it. I so love this one. I hope you do a finished video. I'd love to see it all done. Have a great day Mike. Big hug. :)
