Ike slammed us here in Ohio
That being said we lost out power on Sunday Night and just got it back today, about 45 minutes ago. I know I am behind in approving the remarks that every one left and I will answer each and every one of them. Please forgive me if it seemed that I was ignoring all of my blogging friends I have not been. I just was not able to go online. No electricity does that. I am grateful that things were not much worse and I ask for prayers for all those that have been affected by Ike's wrath.

ReplyDeleteHi Mike. Yes, I bet Mr. Ike is doing his thing about all over the midwest to the east coast. I heard it's on his way up into Canada before he tires out and goes to sea.
ReplyDeleteStay safe with no electricity.

Hi Mike,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're back safely.
God bless,
Brenda :)
Power was fine here... (Lakewood/West Park area) but I saw many on Twitter with no power... and some for days... Winds were beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSara, yep where you are I know the frustration mine was just a second compared to the other areas that were affected by Ike and that really nasty on who's nick name is KAT.
ReplyDeleteBrenda.yeh that was no fun at least some of my family members had power so we too our frozen stuff the their homes.
Cecillia,I'm glad that you were not affected. several of my blogging friends thaout I was mad at them untill I got my power back and was able to blog about what happened to me.
We got remnants of Gustav in WI, but it looks like Ike curved.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back and safe.
Have you come across anyone in your blog travels that has lost their home or been put in a terrible position by Ike? I have seen one blogger who lost EVERYTHING. I am going to do a post tomorrow I think, asking others if they have heard how our Blogging community may have been affected as well as what we see on the media.
ReplyDeleteIke was not a very nice visitor, was he?
ReplyDeleteHi Mike:-)
ReplyDeleteGosh, it's been a while since I've visited, just been too busy to spend much time online. I had heard on the news that Ike had hit Ohio as well and how sad that a few lives were lost in it. My heart and prayers go out to all those affected. I don't think we'll be getting the remnants of Ike like we did Gustav, here in Northern Ontario so I'm sure glad about that! xoxo
Sassy Momma Bear yer Ike clipped parts of Misigan, and then headed into Canada on it's way to Nova Scotia and than into the atlantic.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I have not heard of anyone losing their home to Ike in my blog traves, but than again I cut my reader way back. it had gotten way out of hand.
Nick, no he was not. I'm just glad he did not dump a tom of rain on us,his winds enough damage.
Pea, thanks for stopping by.
Hi Mike, I am getting back to blogging and wanted to stop over. I know you guys got IKED! Our son-in-law is an electrician in Indianapolis, a big part of his company spent all week in Cincy trying to restore power. He finally made it home last night. I am Thankful for your attitude! You are one "Grateful Guy"...Hugs! (I missed you)
