Congratulaltions AA on 75 years of helping folks stay sober. AA is a life saver.

Happy Birthday to AA! Bill and Bob did a great job.
ReplyDeleteFinding Pam,that is true,it is hard for someone to admidt that they have a problem.I am glad that AA has a solution.
ReplyDeleteSyd,that they did.
75 years ~ that's old for an alcoholic!... that's old. I've only been to AA twice. Though I know NA came from AA I found the atmosphere quite different. Also NA are more ritualized with their readings etc. There were no readings at the AA meet I went to.
ReplyDeleteI've always been meaning to get a copy of AA's Basic Text. I've had the NA one so long, I didn't even realize a new edition has come out with loads more personal accounts (that's my favourite bit of the book).
75 years is a lot of "just for todays"!
Gledwood,Yep that is a lot of the just for today.
