Something that I had done on Monday.
The Dentist's treatment of me was a pleasant experience. Most of the time I end up with unpleasant people there at Metro. The reason I have to go to metro hospital is that my former regular dentist said that because of the seizures he did not want me as a patient any longer. other dentist copped the same attitude. so now I go the the hospital's dentist office and usually get the residents and their unpleasant attitudes. The guy I say Monday was just finishing up his time at Metro.

I'm glad that this was a good experience. It would be difficult for me to be declined as a patient and to see someone different everytime...but, then you got someone that you like. I hope you are feeling okay now.
ReplyDeleteGlad you finally had a good experience with the dentist. Oral hygiene is so very important to ones health.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day Mike. Big hug. :)
Clueless,it just gets me that dentisit and doctors can get away with discriminating against people for medical reasons.
ReplyDeleteSandee, Oral Hygiene is something that I have been practicing for a long time now. That's why when I go for my cleanings it is one two three done.
Any time you have a "good" dental experience is a miracle in my book. I'm terrified of the dentist!
ReplyDeleteWanda's Wings,I'm not terrified of them I just keep hoping that I get a kind and patient one.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand Mike, it could just be the physician telling you that your conditions are beyond what they are able to do or feel comfortable doing. I've had physicians tell me this...on a good day, I didn't take it personally...yet, I did get angry because it is hard to find good medical let alone with one who is good with special skills. I for one was greatful that I was told that it was outside of his comfort level. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, it has been almost two years since I've had my teeth cleaned due to my health problems...I WANT MY TEETH CLEANED!!!
:-)
Clueless, I think that most of the dententist just want to see as may peopl as possible and donot want to take the time to be accomadating, and that is sad.Celestine even talked to here dentist, who has a child that has seizures you would thing that person would be understanding but NO he will not have me as a patient untill the seizures are stopped. there are about 3% of people with seizures that does not happen to.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to go to the dentist, and I can see it is worse for you. I'm so glad this time went well!
ReplyDeleteMari, every once and a while things do.
