Hi, I'm glad to read you're feeling good, thanks for the update and I hope you continue to feel great!
ReplyDeleteStephany,I am just gonna keep taking things One day At A Time as I do my soberity.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! I agree that going off some of those meds probably made a big difference. You're right - one day at a time!
ReplyDeleteI am really glad you are doing better. I have those thoughts quite frequently, and the last 3-4 days have been especially intense. Thankfully, our Heavenly Father keeps from going ahead and taking that final step. For as it is with His Kingdom of Heaven, He hasn't given me a clear picture of what spending eternity in Hell would be like, but He has given me enough to know for certain that even the worst of times in this world is nothing in comparison to the best of times in Hell. Furthermore, the same applies to His Kingdom of Heaven. For even what we would naturally consider to be the best of times in this world is nothing in comparison to the worst of times there.
ReplyDeleteYes, there is much about this world that is grossly unfair, and this is by His design. For despite what has been so widely taught in His name about all of the bad things never being meant to happen, be assured that they are all part of the plan that He set into motion even before He created this world. For the apparent unfairness of this world gives us opportunities to give Him the full benefit of our considerable doubts, and He will pour out His gratitude upon all who are willing to do so for all of eternity.
Yes, knowing this makes my own desires to kill myself all the more ridiculous. For I know, which goes far beyond mere belief, that it is all for His glory and our ultimate good, but my flesh is indeed very weak.
I am really glad that you are feeling better and that the thought have gone away. By the way, you are not "stupid," for what you didn't!! Would you call me "stupid" for the same thing? (Thing bothering me from you email)
ReplyDeleteI often wish that you and I lived closer and come over and bother you and give you a big hug!!! Somehow, Southern California seems so far away...although, I think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is there...excuse for a vacation?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are doing much better Mike. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day my friend. Big hug. :)
Mari,That is how I intend to live from now on.
ReplyDeleteFishhawk, all we can do is keep putting everything in His hands. He will help us.
Clueless,I just have to keep living my life one day at a time.Yes the rock and Roll Hall of fame is here.
If we could afford it I would have us come out to CA.I would love to share some of the places that I have been to I think Celestine would enjoy Fisherman's wharf,Whinchester mystery House,Hurst Castle,Cannery Row in Monterey ect.
Those all sound like great places...I love those areas and places to see. I really want to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...when I am ready. :-)
ReplyDeleteMike, I am glad of that. Please let someone know who is close to you if you do have those thoughts again. Take care.
ReplyDeleteClueless, the great thing is no matter where you live there are always some fun places to see.
ReplyDeleteSyd, I intened to.I think the biggest help to was getting off the whole lists of meds and the interections.
