I give up for the night.
AND BEFORE ANY ONE ASKS I DID RUN A FULL SCAN WITH MY ANTI VIRUS AND MAL-WARE SCANS. NOTHING THERE. THERE IS ONE MORE SCAN I COULD RUN IT IS CALLED THE NORTON POWER ERASER IT EVEN GOT RID OF HIDDEN PROGRAMS THAT MAYBE THE ANTI VIRUS AND MAL-WARE MIGHT HAVE MISSED. I THINK I WILL JUST STICK TO PLAYING MY GAMES AND FORGET ABOUT DOING THE ENTRECARD DROPS AS WELL. SEE EVERYONE ON FRIDAY.

Sometimes you just have to walk away from what you are doing and play games. I can so relate. Firefox has been a challenge of late. They used to be the cats meow.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific evening Mike. :)
Sandee,ZI used internet explorer to do this posting and today I dumped firefox from my computer and put in Google chrome. Here's hoping that my computer does not crash.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your operating system? My Mom has Windows XP and had all sorts of Internet problems. She had issues with IE (I forget what version Internet Explorer is up to-8 or 9 I think.) She went and uninstalled the update for IE and went back to IE 7 and was ok at one point but then had problems with websites crashing since she wasn't using the latest IE. OK then she went to Google Chrome as I love Chrome myself and I told her all about it. Her computer gave problems with Chrome too. It kept insisting she needed Windows XP or higher and would not recognize that she had XP!! Talk about frustrating...grrr. If you have Windows 7, Google Chrome is the best in my opinion. I wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteDawn,I have windows Xp in my computer.I have internet explorer 8 and firefox 9.I uninstalled the firefox that I had and put in google chrome, and that when the fun really started so I unstalled the chrome.and put firefox back in sofar today every ting is working.
ReplyDeleteMike, sometimes Firefox is a pain for that especially if you close it and re-open it to quickly.
ReplyDeleteAnyway if it happens again try opening the task manager, You can right click on an empty space on the Task Bar and click Task Manager, OR by pressing CTRL then Alt then Delete keys one by one in that order but keeping them pressed as u go then the task manager should just pop straight up.
Once you have got the task manager up choose the "Processes" tab scroll down till you see Firefox you will probably see a few highlight each one and click the "End Process" button bottom right within the task manager window, another pop up will appear click "End Process" on that too, make sure you repeat the procedure for each instance of Firefox that is running, that will save you restarting your PC.
Hope this helps
Happy New Year to you :-)
Stevebethere, thanks for that next time that happens I will try that. Thanks for the tip.
