ReplyDeleteSandee, I enjoyed both of these as well.Herb Alpert was on a Tavis Smiley show the other night(it was a repeay) and he was talking about the temake they did showing a snippet of it so I just had to see the whole video and I remembey Fred Astair doing his take on it as well so I put both up ans today's offering.
ReplyDeleteIan Baird, yoye it is indeed,But I enjoy the oldies a lot.
Oh wow! I love these & that was one of my Mom's favorite movies with Fred Astaire. She loved musicals & the dancing. Thanks for sharing your great taste in music! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
ReplyDeleteMarie Moody,I would rather sit and way the old moves ove the garbage that they put on TV today.I am glad we donot have cable the crap they put on over the ait TV is bad enough.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer Fred Astaire only because I love everything he does but I did like the first one too.

ReplyDeleteHave a dancetastic week Mike ;-)
Naila Moon, I admit,I could sit all day watching Mr. Astair dance,he is that good.
ReplyDeleteStevebethere,Yes Indeed,I do as well.
Hitting the dance floor once again after my brief blog hiatus. Enjoying the sound of a very old song with new twist and then a more familiar one with Fred Astir's smooth moves. BTW, which I love! Now, I must admit when I hear "Putting on the Ritz" I always think of that scene from Young Frankenstein where Gene Wilder (Young Frankenstein) & Peter Boyle (the monster) dance to this song. lol Thanks for making me smile and for helping to make Monday's Music Moves Me!
ReplyDeleteCathy Kennedy,I had forgotten about that, thanks for reminding me of the snippet of the movie.
