As always, if you'd like to join us in the musical fun, the guidelines are basic and simple.
1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here..
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. You may choose a particular theme to share with us, or post random tunes if that's your vibe for the day. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
3. Don't feel restricted by the tracks listed on Playlist.com. And don't be discouraged if the Embed code won't work. You're welcome to use any type of media to share your Sets.
4. Be sure to sign Mr Linky on his site so everyone can visit your Set.
No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.
Go forth and enjoy music!
If music be the food of love, play on.
William Shakespeare
Since we lost a Great Music Great Percy Sledge I am doing a special 5 On Friday
Percy Sledge - Bring it on home to me
Percy Sledge - It Tears Me Up
Percy Sledge -- Warm & TenderLove
Percy Sledge - When a Man Loves a Woman
Percy Sledge - Take Time To Know Her
Percy Sledge - My Special Prayer
Great set, Mike! I'm more familiar with The Animals' version of Bring it On Home to Me, but of course I really enjoyed the Percy Sledge version. Also really liked My Special Prayer. I was just about to post my 5 on Friday last night at suppertime when I lost internet connection -- so frustrating! But I had to head out for an evening with a friend of mine, heading back to Australia (he grew up here in Canada.) So here we are, 5 on Friday on Saturday morning. Hopefully next week will work out a lot more smoothly! It seems like all of March and April have thrown posting challenges down for me. I also hope you're doing well -- always thinking about you, Mike.
