The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

    Hi Mike! Thanks for posting this over on my Facebook wall. I haven't given up on 5 on Friday, believe it or not -- even though I haven't posted a set since May. (Imagine!) Once again, it's my health considerations that have encouraged me to put my Friday music fun aside so that I can get through my work week at my day job. I simply don't have anything left physically or cognitively when Thursday rolls around. That's when I used to put my sets together. I'm coming to the conclusion that I'll have to work on my posts during the weekend, and schedule them to post on the following Friday. Let's cross our fingers for a post from me for next week! And now, on to your Jr. Walker / Booker T. set. Always love Shotgun and Green Onions. Hadn't heard Way Back Home before, which I really enjoyed.
