The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

A thought about the past Flashback Friday

the point of This Flashback Friday is this what a taxi cab looked like back in the day not a Ford Crown Victoria, or a Chevy Impala but and Honest To God CHECKER MARATHON CAB. My Dad and his Brother Evan were Cleveland Taxi Cab Drivers. Hell I even drove a cab for a while when I lived in California. I had the pleasure of driving a cab for Mr. Erol DeBock's City Cab Company in West Sacramento California way back in the late 70's. When I find a picture of my cab I will post it.
Now what passes as a cab here in Cleveland now adays!
