The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  2. Mike,

The Battle Hymn of Republic is such an emotional song. All the sacrifice made by our founding fathers to come to this land too establish a nation free from religious persecution and oppression. We've had many men and women to give their lives to keep these liberties intact since the birth of our country. May God's grace continue to shine on America. Thank you for joining the 4M on the dance floor each week, my friend.

  4. Hi Mike,
Great movie clip! I enjoyed that.
And I so love Lee Greenwood's God Bless the U.S.A. It's so rich!
It was good to hear the Battle Hymn of the Republic too. I don't believe I came across that one today in all these 4M posts.

Hope you have a great 4th!

  6. I noticed a couple of the Fourth of July celebrations (Washington DC and New York City) featured the Battle Hymm of the Republic. But I was a bit taken aback by them playing it (just the music) that afternoon at JC Penney. The Gary Owen clip - that one was unexpected! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
