ReplyDeleteMy daddy, granddaddy, and uncles worked in the coal mines of West Virginia. I forgot about Lee Dorsey's song. What a fun tribute coal miners! Of course, I love Dolly Parton's "9 to 5"! Even her daddy worked in the coal mines according her second Christmas movie special "Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love". That's a sweet, sweet film! ReplyDeleteLove these songs. I had them in my playlist too. Especially love the coal-miner songs. My grandfather was a coal miner in Pennsylvania. What a dirty hard job! Great videos.
