Gene Autry was so talented, sometimes i wish people knew about more than just his Christmas repertoire.

ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteThe singing cowboy brings back a piece of my childhood every time I hear any of these Gene Autry classics. I remember vividly "Up on a Housetop" from my early years. I mean before the age of 5 early. I don't know how I remember stuff from that far back but can't remember what happened yesterday. lol Thanks for joining the 4M gals on the dance floor. Have a joyful Christmas season, my friend!
Cathy Kennedy,It was my Pleasure to run Gene Autry this week.
ReplyDeleteI was just a baby when Up on the Housetop came out - I seem to remember some of these songs on yellow 78 records. Love the Singing Cowboy! Thanks for the reliving my childhood moment. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
