I love them all. Some of the shows soundtracks are better than music albums. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with the SF shot and keeping me in the mix. Thanks.
Have a fabulous day filled with great music. :)
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm GREAT PICKINS HERE MY FRIEND! Love Green Acres... it always made me laugh only because I know all the words! hahahaha Have a rockin' week!!!
ReplyDeleteSandee and Xmaedolly,Thank you Both.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since i watched Green Acres. Such memories!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying everyone's contributions - My husband watched Mannix faithfully - it was such a great series. Bonanza is an all time great (I could listen to that song over and over) Green Acres - I never got into the "hillbilly" CBS songs of the mid 60's such as Petticoat Junction and the Beverly Hillbillies but I enjoyed the Green Acres song. I've even heard a rap version of it that I love! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHey Mike,
ReplyDeleteMagnum PI theme mewsic really is pawsome! That was one of my favorite 80s shows. Green Acres was such a fun program. I loved the idea of rich folks moving to the country to try to adapt to a simpler life but honestly I think they would've at least done it in a house that wasn't dilapidated. I guess that's part of the appeal to the whole show, though. Bonanza was watched at our house and I always think about my little brother when I think of this show. I guess we watched it together. My memory isn't what it used to be....maybe it never was any good. lol Thanks for boogieing with the 4M gang, my friend. Have a tunetastic week!
Whenever I hear the theme for "Green Acres," I always do Eva Gabor's parts in a Hungarian accent. I don't think it sounds right otherwise.
ReplyDeletemessymini,Bookworm and Cathy Kennedy,Thank you one and all.:) :-f :-h d-)
ReplyDeleteJohn Holton,LOL! d-)
ReplyDeleteHey Mike,
ReplyDeletewow, so glad you picked the Magnum PI theme song. I used to watch that show all the time and when I clicked on it and it started playing it took me back to seeing the series finale in May of 1988 when I was with some friends: we had taken a road trip to Chincoteague Island to see the wild horses out there and stayed in some cool rental house in Oyster Bay. I can vividly remember the night the very last episode of Magnum PI was on and how excited we were to watch it. Thanks for the memory!
All of your picks were favorites of mine. Especially loved Bonanza!
Great choices.
Enjoy the rest of your week,
