Oh, Frankie! That’s what Grandma used to say, and she’s right he was dreamy.
ReplyDeleteSome of those covers i didn’t even know got covered later, i only remember the originals!
Mike,
ReplyDeleteYou pulled out some oldies for the 4M to boogie soft shoe style with Frankie. Your first YT video of the cover songs, I was surprised to learn Cindi Lauper's "Girls Wanna Have Fun" is a remake! Maybe, I knew this but forgot. I'm working on my 3rd cup of coffee with little brain cell activity going on this morning. Thanks for the mewsic education and dance. Saying prayers for your sweetie! Have a pAwesome week, my friend!

Hi Mike,
ReplyDeleteYour first video was fun to watch and listen to. It's so cool to discover all those songs that you thought were originals by these bands only to find out they are in fact covers. I love that!
You can't ever go wrong with Frank!
Hope you're having a good week.
Stop by if you get a chance...

I enjoyed the first piece with various originals and covers (I did know a lot of them, surprisingly, but Frank Sinatra? And "The Way You Look Tonight" was first done by Fred Astaire in 1936? The other two surprised me, too. Great post!
