The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  1. I have family in Cleveland and have spent some good times there in The Flats. Saw a ballgame in Municipal Stadium the year Jacobs Field was being built. Good videos here!

    1. John Holton,I know I feel the good times from the Old flats are gone forever. They keep building New Stuff that either never opens at all or folds shortly after the open.

  2. I've been to Cleveland once, visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. Could have been longer! It's not that far - about a 4 1/2 hour drive. We may do that road trip again. Cleveland Rocks! ☺

  3. Two of my in laws are being treated at the Cleveland Clinic (and that place really rocks as far as the quality of its medical staff). I've been through Cleveland but have never stopped to visit - yes, boo me. And, of course, it's the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so I have no excuse. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  4. Mike,

Do you live in Cleveland, Ohio? The best I can remember,we have not visited Cleveland. That would be out of our way on any of our past trips up north. Did you know we have a Cleveland, too? It's south of Knoxville heading toward Chattanooga. :) New development can be a good thing in some areas especially when they work around or include old architecture in the planning. Downtown Knoxville has taken a upscale swing converting old stores (upper levels) into luxury apartments/condos and the street level either being the entrance way or new business like restaurants, coffee shops, retail, etc. This kind of living doesn't appeal to me but it doe to many and I do like seeing the downtown area thrive. It used to be a bit rundown but now it's really nice. Thanks for sharing and joining the 4M gang on the dance floor, my friend!
