The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

      Mary B.I usually march to the Beat of my own drummer,even when I served in the USAF.But I had to Honor all those that Gave their All for our freedom. especially those that servived their service and have since passed away,gone Home to our heavenly Father and Their Brothers and sisters whe served.as I hope that I do someday long into the future.:):D:X:-*:-f:-h y-)d-)

    Such a wonderful tribute. Very lovely. Don't care if you served in the Air Force, all who served are brothers and sisters no matter what the branch from a Navy vet.

    I am not a big poetry person but In Flanders Fields is one of the few poems that really speaks to me. It approaches poetry perfection. I try to feature it on my blog on most Veterans Days. "Flowers on the Wall" from my childhood - I love the part where they say "...and watching Captain Kangaroo" - I wonder how many young ones even know who Captain Kangaroo was - oh well, each generation has its own special people and events.

    Your Memorial Day tribute was a very nice touch my friend. I really enjoyed it. Also, your second tune I haven't heard that one in a long time, but I truly enjoyed it.
