The Blogger's Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

  4. Mike,

Flatt & Scruggs is a part of my childhood. I remember them making appearances on The Beverly Hills Hillbillies. What a great old show! They also performed on Hee Haw and The Grand Old Opry show. This isn't my favorite kind of mewsic but it's fun to listen on rare occasions. Thanks for putting a smile on my face today with these two fellas. Stay safe, be well, and have a boogietastic week, my friend!

  5. I remember Flatt and Scruggs from the Beverly Hillbillies theme song although I didn't watch it that much. What banjo playing! I'm not a huge bluegrass fan but each of these songs got my body to tapping in just seconds, especially Cripple Creek. Enjoyed your set a lot.
