I'm not going to quite blogging.
Here is one reason, my bi-polar meds are being adjusted. The medication that I am on can lower the SEIZURE THRESHOLD. We are reducing the amount that I take. I am seeing one change that is not for the good. I am not the happy go lucky self that I was several days ago. I am trying to ride out this and it is maybe why I overreacted and posted the post about quitting.
I am hoping that when I get to the dosage that my doctor wants me to be at that I stabilize again. If not the medication will be going back up to where it was. Meanwhile, enjoy the post that Sandee just posted about the Alligators.
Please keep me in your prayers, while I try to ride out the changes. If things do not improve next week I will be boosting the meds back up. I may still throw a video in for Friday.
One more thing, I am glad to have my blogging friends that I have and will be visiting you as I can.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were adjusting your medication. Wow, that explains a lot. Just hang in there an don't worry about anything. All of your friends will be right here. Just get better.
ReplyDeleteYou are always in my prayers Mike. Always. Big hug. :)
Mari,Speedcat, and Sandee,Thank you are for your prayers, the medication is being dropped down by 20mg from 60mg to 40 mg a day.it does not sound like much but it is and if my stability starts getting worse that I am to go back to the higher dose and just have to live with the lower seizure threshhold.Such is life.
ReplyDeleteMike, I will keep you in my prayers as I know how hard adjustments with meds can be. Stay strong and know that we will be here for you. You have some mighty fine friends out there.

Sorry Mike, I certainly hope you can get stable with the lower dosage. I'm glad you are continuing with blogging.
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteTake care of you, and we will be here for you.
Sending you big {{{hugs}}}!!!
There must be a good reason for them to lower the dosage, just hang in there!!
Thinking of you,
Kat :)
Finding Pam,Wanda,AirmanMom,Jude8753,and Kat,the reason for lowering one the dosage on my mood stablizer drug it that it also lowers the threshold for seizures that the lamictil helps with.so we will se what will be.If I start having bad mood swings that the reduction of meds are a no-go.
ReplyDeleteMike, I just know things will level out soon for you. No need to worry 'bout nothin! I consider myself your friend and will be praying for you. Blessings my friend.
