The Blogger's Prayer
Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

My blogging friend ANDREA has some prayer request on her site, Please go and read these requests and offer the prayers that are needed.
A Hero has gone home.
John William Finn (July 23, 1909 – May 27, 2010) was a United States Navy officer who received the United States military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor in World War II. As a chief aviation ordnanceman stationed at Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay, he earned the medal by manning a machine gun from an exposed position throughout the attack, despite being repeatedly wounded. He continued to serve in the Navy until his 1956 retirement, eventually rising to the commissioned officer rank of lieutenant. In his later years he made many appearances at events celebrating veterans. At the time of his death, Finn was the oldest living Medal of Honor recipient and the last living recipient from the attack on Pearl Harbor.
A Prayer Request.
Prayers are needed for my friend Wanda. She is suffering and need our prayers and conforting words of support.

Capt. Kyle Comfort
27 years old from Jacksonville, Alabama
Fire Support Officer Company D, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment
May 8, 2010

Kyle Comfort had just recently been promoted to Captain and been assigned to a Ranger Regiment in the Army. His accomplishments as a Soldier, in such a short time, were a testament to the fact that he was an excellent Soldier. Unfortunately, in this war, it doesn’t make a lot of difference how good you are at your job. The difference seems to be left to chance. Where you are sitting in your vehicle or which vehicle you are sitting in when you hit an IED or where you are standing on your FOB when the mortars come in. All chance and circumstance.
It has to be that way. The enemy that is fighting us now could never win a legitimate war with our Soldiers. So they fight as insurgents and use tactics that they know make our Soldiers vulnerable.
That is how they got CAPT Kyle Comfort. With an IED just a month into his tour of duty in Afghanistan. If they had fought him face-to-face, they never would have gotten him.

A scarry Thought.
I saw this article on this Blog. I was gonna comment on it and decided to turn it into a semi Diatribe on my site instead. KIDS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IN SCHOOL TO LEARN NOT RULE THE SCHOOL. WHEN YOU BECOME "AN ADULT" MAYBE.A teacher should not have to be afraid of the students YOU need to be afraid of the TEACHER AND THE PRINCIPLE AS I WAS.IF I ACTED UP IN SCHOOL I WAS SENT TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE AND USUALLY GOT MY BEHIND SWATTED WITH A PADDLE IF I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT I GOT IT DOUBLE WHEN I GOT HOME.The main problem as I see it is that for too long ALL YOUR PARENTS HAVE WANTED TO BE YOUR KIDS FRIENDS THE IDEA THE DISCIPLINE BEING CHILD ABUSE IS DEAD WRONG.IT IS HIGH TIME IT WENT BACK TO IT DID IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS THEY WERE YOUR PARENTS AND NOT YOU FRIEND UNTIL YOU BECAME AN ADULT.THIS BEING SAID THAT MEANS DISCIPLINING YOU AS MY PARENTS DID.If I even dared to talk back to them I was in deep trouble. Now a days telling the adults what to do is the norm.to this I say HORSESHIT.
THE FLIP-FLOPS are a danger to YOU The Backless shoes can cause you to slip and fall.YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO CONFORM IN THE WORLD.ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO WORKING FOR A LIVING.NO ONE EVER HANDED ME ANYTHING ON A SILVER PLATTER.EVERY THING THAT I HAVE I WORKED TO BUY IT.
NOW THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SOCIETY.

SILLY SATURDAY
An older couple is lying in bed one morning. They had just awakened from a good night's sleep.
He takes her hand and she responds, 'Don't touch me.'
'Why not?' he asked.
She answered, 'Because I'm dead.'
The husband asked...'What are you talking about? We're both lying here in bed together and talking to one another!'
She said, 'No, I'm definitely dead.'
He insisted, 'You are not dead. What in the world makes you think you're dead?'
'Because I woke up this morning and nothing hurts'.

What is going on.
Sandee, thank you for posting the Wednesday's Hero, and for moderating the comments. I think I owe my visitors an explanation as to what is going on. This week has not been fun. Sunday my water heater went out. Yesterday(Tuesday) I was DISINVITED TO A CHRISTENING . The hosts feared my Seizures would cause"upset"for some of the other guests. This is a huge slap in my face and a stab in my back at the same time, it really hurts to be shunned again. This is why I lost my interest in blogging, visiting and even dropping my entrecard on fellow entrecard bloggers. I am deeply hurt and very depressed.

MOTHER'S DAY
Happy Mothers Day.Mothers Day is not a regular day,is a special one.If you are not celebrating Mothers Day you make a big mistake.Today dawns as just another day, but with a special meaning that we want to go beyond a slogan in the malls. A special meaning for women who will be mothers or who are already in the Mother’s Day, celebrated the first Sunday in May in many places.
Women who expect only that they are good for a day, this one, the other days, with their children. Recalling the time of delivery with emotion.
Who spend sleepless nights when they can not sleep, when they are sick. Receiving his first words, first steps, their first greeting crafts with tears in their eyes and most of the joys.
They leave everything to be with them in their first experiences in this world. That are organized to magically work with the house and one without falling defeated in the effort. That can not wait to return to his side.
They see their children grow up proud, and come to their grandchildren, our mothers, mothers and grandmothers to whom we owe so much.
This is our little tribute to all of them, that motherhood made them better, bigger, fuller, more alive. For all those women, Happy Mother’s Day!
Day of Reflection
Why is celebrated on Mother’s Day?, Is a question that can be interpreted many different ways, from trade, from the psychological, looks feminists, among others, the fact is that the mother in today’s society is perhaps playing a major role in the home. In most cases is present or not the husband, the mother is the pillar that holds the family.
Mother’s Day is the date that celebrates motherhood and reminds us of the sweet side and more rewarding: The smiles of children, a sense of fulfillment in life, personal growth involved, the rewards daily effort and pleasure to see children grow up and accompany them in life.
But Mother’s Day also can help us reflect on the social value given to the breeding and the conditions exist for it, because although all the mothers of the world we share ‘oxytocin’ infinite love to the children and good intentions , the country where we form our family identifies and facilitates the work or harms.
There are cultures where children are a joy, it gives vital importance to children and knows that “it takes a village to raise a child”, children are integrated into everyday life, reconciliation means to be together and not separated long hours, and nursing and maternity exercise is considered a right of women and part of female power and subjection.
But there are other cultures where pregnancy is bad news and the first cause for dismissal and ‘mobbing’ work, where most women attaches more importance to work to have children, made respectable and legitimate in themselves but society adult-centric means invisible to motherhood, underestimate their paper instead of considering an investment, not aid support, maternity leave, flexible work longer real.
Mothers are the best example of dedication and perseverance. Their children represent the effort of a lifetime and are a source of proud moments in his heart that will last forever. During this special day is remembered for mothers and their important role in society.
The mother within the household as a social nucleus is very important whether by culture, tradition, information, customs and tradition, women
is needed at home, because in a way the woman is the agent for channeling certain functions of the same for men are not prepared, genetic or culturally.
Why we celebrate Mother’s Day?
Celebrate Mother’s Day is almost a worldwide tradition in all countries celebrate and pay homage to that being who gave us life, the women who work everyday at home, next to their children, working mothers or single heads of households are doing their best to follow suit them.
Initially the first celebrations of Mother’s Day began in ancient Greece, when the gods paid homage to Rhea, his mother. Also in Rome took this tradition of the Greeks and the offering in the temple of Cybele on March 15.
In the Christian world the celebration was more religious in nature and the celebration was done in honor of the Virgin Mary.
While in 1907, Anna Jarvis, daughter of Anna Reeves Jarvis, a community activist from West Virginia in the United States reached the 1914 President Woodrow Wilson officially established, the celebration of Mother’s Day, second Sunday in May , the day he lost his mother.
Before her death, Anna Jarvis said that he had repented of promoting this celebration because it had become a trading date.
Although in many parts some people consider this day purely commercial, it’s worth a day to recognize the work that makes the woman who gave us life, as best as a tribute to someone who says a song never get tired of waiting.

SILLY SATURDAY
A woman was out golfing one day when she hit her ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap. The frog said to her, "If you release me from this trap, I will grant you 3 wishes."
The woman freed the frog. The frog said, "Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes -- that whatever you wish for, your husband will get 10 times more or better!"
The woman said, "That would be okay." For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world.
The frog warned her, "You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis, that women will flock to."
The woman replied, "That will be okay because I will be the most beautiful woman and he will only have eyes for me."
So, KAZAM - she's the most beautiful woman in the world! For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world. The frog said, "That will make your husband he richest man in the world and he will be ten times richer than you."
The woman said, "That will be okay because what's mine is his and what's his is mine." So, KAZAM she's the richest woman in the world.
The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, "I'd like a mild heart attack."

WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
I had tried to come up with a good posting for the anniversary of the KENT STATE shootings and could not. I did find a great posting about it. PLEASE GO HERE! I was still in high school when this happened.
A Sobering Thought.
Irena Sendler
There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' .. She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Two years ago Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.
Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.
Powerful message, especially the "cartoon." Let us never forget!
63 years later
In MEMORIAM - 63 YEARS LATER
Please read the little cartoon carefully, it's powerful. Then read the comments
at the end.
I'm doing my small part by forwarding this message. I hope you'll consider
doing the same.
In Memoriam
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russian Peoples looking the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iraq , Iran , and others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it's imperative to make sure the world never forgets, because there are others who would like to do it again.

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918 (amended by act of July 25, 1963), takes pleasure in presenting the Silver Star to Sergeant Keith Dewayne Andrews, United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action during the ground assault of Operation DESERT STORM. Sergeant Andrews showed extraordinary courage once he observed that air support had by-passed two Iraqi machine gun positions, leaving a Humvee with five soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division pinned down by enemy cross fire. Sergeant Andrews negotiated a minefield while fighting his way to the top of the enemy bunker, destroying it with a fragmentation hand grenade. Being out of ammo, Sergeant Andrews resourcefully obtained the enemy machine gun using it to fight his way up the second Iraqi fighting position. Over all, Sergeant Andrews single-handedly killed some twenty-five enemy combatants to secure two enemy bunkers. This allowed for the quick evacuation of the five wounded soldiers thus saving their lives. These brave and selfless actions of Sergeant Andrews bring great credit to himself, his unit and the United States Army.
These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.
We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

WHY IS IT ALWAYS RAINING ON MY PARADE??
Well folks today has really been shitty as hell. During the afternoon I had a really bad seizure and fell flat on my face bending my glasses into a semi pretzel. Celestine was out shopping at the time. After I came to and saw what I had done to my glasses I called her and she was finishing up the shopping that she was doing and came home. She took me to our optician's office EYE OPTICAL on Broadview Rd. in Parma, Oh. Dennis was able to fix my glasses. I had thought that I had ruined them beyond repair. I have been mainly sleeping and playing my computer games. I most likely will be doing that tomorrow as well. So if you see me you do if not you will not. It has been that kind of week already and it's only Tuesday!
a diatribe on a fellow bloggers site.
Today I did something that I have not done in a super long time.I went on a diatribe on AirmanMom's site in answer to a comment made on her posting. Here is the remark that was made and my responce.
The blog Fodder said,
Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost.
"Taking the fight to them" has turned a number of otherwise Americans against their adopted country, in defense of their old homeland.
my responce was this:
To the blog fodder, maybey they never really intended on being loyal the the USA,Does the term SLEEPER CELL ring a bell!!!!!!During the different wars that has always happened.people come here "to make a new life" all the while loyal to the mother country just waiting for a chance to do harm to the U.S.
Sorry AirmanMom,I did not intend to go on a diatribe on your site.

This being said, TO THOSE THAT FIT THE BILL,GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY AND GO BACK TO YOU OWN!
for those that do not know what a sleeper cell is:
A clandestine cell structure is a method for organizing a group in such a way that it can more effectively resist penetration by an opposing organization. Depending on the group's philosophy, its operational area, the communications technologies available, and the nature of the mission, it can range from a strict hierarchy to an extremely distributed organization. It is also a method used by criminal organizations, undercover operatives, and unconventional warfare (UW) led by special forces.
Cell structures continue to evolve. Historically, clandestine organizations avoided electronic communications, because signals intelligence, SIGINT, is a strength of conventional militaries and counterintelligence organizations. New communications techniques, such as the Internet and strong encryption, may allow some inter-cell communications that were too dangerous in the past.
In the context of tradecraft, covert and clandestine are not synonymous. The adversary is aware that a covert activity is happening, but does not know who is doing it, and certainly not their sponsorship. Clandestine activities, however, if successful, are completely unknown to the adversary, and their function, such as espionage, would be neutralized if there was any awareness of the activity. A covert cell structure is tantamount to a contradiction in terms, because the point of the cell structure is that its details are completely hidden from the opposition.
A sleeper cell refers to a cell, or isolated grouping of sleeper agents that belong to an intelligence network or organization. The cell "sleeps" (lies dormant) inside a target population until it receives orders or decides to act. (See also Mole (espionage), Double agent, Sleeper agent.) A sleeper cell is a somewhat special case, if, for example, it is clandestine until activated, as with a sabotage or terror unit. Still, there can be cells (or singleton agents) who are both clandestine and sleeper. While most World War II UK espionage agents sent to the UK were almost immediately caught and neutralized, a few, who infiltrated an area long ahead of time, and set up a clock repair shop or something else innocent that was also near a naval base, were only activated when there was a specific operational requirement. Sleepers also provide support services, such as emergency escape routes, backup communications, etc.

Today has not been my day. It started out around 8:30 AM. I got up to go to the bathroom and Celestine had extremely low blood sugar. Is was so low I could not even get a reading. I used both of our emergency glucose injections, not to mention 2 boxes of apple juice. She said that she had been sitting on the toilet for a long time before I found her. I finally got her feeling better and back to bed around 9:30 AM. Not to mention is was a real picnic getting her out of her wet nightgown and into some dry clothing. We both fell back to sleep.
I am so glad that I did not have a seizure when this was going on.I did a little later in the morning We finally both both up around 12:30 PM. She was still a little wobbly but she told me to go and have some breakfast, and the bring her up something to drink. I did and she was feeling much better. Needless to say it was all together not a great day here at GOLCH CENTRAL.

I need to add this as well.the virus I was talking about is much nastier.it is also a worm.I had to wipe out my computer and start from scratch.I still have a lot of stuff to reinstall.
A Thought.
I have been on some sites that talk about Entre Card and how their computers got infected by a virus.Today I almost got nailed by a virus that is maskerading as anti-virus software. This is really a virus. The last time this happen The only way I could stop it was to do an emergency shut down by pressing and holding the power on/off button.I KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO SHUT DOWN A COMPUTER,BUT THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE VIRUS FROM ATTACKING MY COMPUTER.As soon as I turn the computer back on I did an anti-virus and a malware scan and thank God that I am safe THIS TIME.Part of the problem is opening multiple site to drop you entre cards. That I will never do again.I am not sure if I will be doing any drops from my inbox, this is how I got attacked.I am not sure if it was a hijacked blog,or what.I am afraid to do any more dropping today.so there for I will be in hiding mode the rest of the day.see you when I'll see you when I see you.
